W. Powell collection on Africa 1930s
|Content and context|
A view showing a woman walking on a beach. The typescript catalogue states that this photograph was taken in Tanzania. However, no trace can be found of a Nyika in Tanzania. It may possibly be in Malawi, as there is a Nyika National Park and Plateau close to Lake Nyasa which is the likely location of the photograph adjacent to this on the album page.
