210 x 155 mm. Edward Bruce Hindle was born in 1851 and called to the Bar in 1879. He became a District Commissioner in the Gold Coast in 1888, Attorney-General in 1889, and was appointed Chief Justice of Sierra Leone in 1895. He had the reputation of being the best lawyer on the West African Coast. He died in March 1897. |
