158 x 114 mm. A view showing the 1898 class twin-screw gunboat 'Sultan' moored at Wad Hamid. A flotilla of ten gunboats under the command of Cdr Colin Keppel was used as part of Kitchener's force in his advance up the Nile towards Omdurman.
