the trees over the Ootacamund valley, with bungalows and other houses visible on the distant slopes. A figure is posed in the foreground looking out over the view. Lambsknowe House was situated on the spur of a hill to the NE of the town, a little to the S of Government House. Part of Ottley Road can be

seen at the extreme left of the print.
