Malta. St Elmo [Ceremonial salute]. 146 x 103 mm. A view looking seawards on the western side of Fort St. Elmo, along the French Curtain towards St. Geroge's Bastion. The smoke from cannon fire can be seen above the fort as well as two spouts of water where shells have landed in the sea. Good condition, apart from slight fading at edges.. |
