90 x 119 mm. Mounted on card. Carbon print head and shoulders profile portrait of the actor Kyrle Bellew. Bellew worked as a labourer and miner and later as a reporter in Victoria in the early 1870s, before starting his acting career. His touring company visited Australia in 1890 and 1896 and in 1900 he returned to Australia to speculate in mining. He later retired to the USA.
