Those pictured are, from left to right: Miss Brenda Lockhart, Mrs Lockhart and Miss Jane Woodcock. Miss Brenda Lockhart never married, helped run the estate. She was the twin sister of Minna who was the mother of the author Jean Rhys. Mrs Lockhart was Brenda and Minna's mother and Miss Jane Woodcock was Mrs Lockhart's sister (Rhys 1979, pp 33-38).
