Content and context

The name of the author is not known, but the work is generally taken to be that of a bhikkhu of the school of Valivita Saranankara, which is supported by the style of the piece. This copy was made Siri Ratanatissa.

A palm-leaf manuscript from Sri Lanka containing a description of the virtues of the Omniscient One (Buddha). It is comprised of a collection of writings on various topics that were of interest to the devotee. This is a nineteenth-century copy of the original work.

Found in the R.C.S. Librarian's office, February 1989.
