Content and context

Geoffrey Moffat served in the R.A.F., 1952-1955. He carried out two tours of duty as a field officer in Nigeria with the quasi-government organisation W.A.I.T.R. (West African Institute For Trypanosomiasis Research) during 1957-1960.

Two accounts of Moffat's term of service in Nigeria, describing his complaints about how he was treated, and a letter to the Foreign Secretary concerning his grievances.
