Sir Colin Campbell Stuart (1885-1972) became actively concerned with Imperial communications in 1923 when he joined the Pacific Cable Board. He was a member of the Imperial Communications Advisory Committee from its foundation in 1928, Chairman from 1933, and Chairman of its successor, the Commonwealth Communications Council, from 1944 until his resignation in 1945.
Correspondence, reports and other papers relating to the bodies of which Campbell Stuart was a member or with whom he was involved through his work, with two photographs of imperial conferences.
Presented by Sir Campbell Stuart's executors through the British Records Association, June 1977.
