The engraver may be Charles Rosenberg, an aquatint engraver of the mid-nineteenth century. The publisher, Colnaghi & Co., was established by Paul Colnaghi, who joined the London firm of Anthony Torre in 1783, assumed control of the company, and developed it into a successful business.
'George the Third in the 74th year of his age and the 52nd of his reign is by permission dedicated to His Royal Highness the Duke of York by...Rosenberg & Son'. The engraving was published in London by Colnaghi & Co., 23 Cockspur Street, Charing Cross.
The provenance of the collection is unknown.
