'United empire' was the journal of the Royal Colonial Institute.

Letters, mostly in reply to requests, welcoming the appearance of the new journal.

Presented by Mrs Ethel Colquhon (later Mrs Tawse Jollie), 1916, widow of Archibald Ross Colquhon (1848-1914), first editor of 'United empire'.
