| Content and context |
|
Photographs of Fergus Wilson's time in East Africa and other countries during his colonial service, including many images of Makerere University College, those relating to agricultural education and the daily life of local people.
Originally, the images were housed in numerous envelopes which were not all labelled, and arranged in six boxes identifying various geographic locations. An effort has been made to group the images by country, but due to many duplications and conflicting or missing captions or labels, in some cases, misidentification may have been made. Y304Q/10 contains many images duplicated elsewhere in the collection, and in some cases additional information is given here.
