The album begins with a typescript description of a visit by H.E. and Anne Hebbert to the Jebel Marra in Sudan, 31 May - 2 July 1942, followed by photographs from the trip. There is also a further typescript page inserted between photographs 37 and 38, entitled "The crater of Jebel Marra'. The second part of the album comprises photographs of a trip to the Nuba Mountains, 1943. The photographs are of native people and scenery. |
