'This committee was originally formed to organise the manufacture of urgent munitions in Northern Rhodesia when bottlenecks existed at that time in the Union and Southern Rhodesia before Ordnance Factories were established and in full operation' (p. 1).
An undated, foolscap photostat of a typescript entitled 'N.R. Production Committee (Munitions): munitions manufacture in Northern Rhodesia'. An introductory note signed by A. Royden Harrison, Chairman, dated 22 June 1944, outlines the activities of the Committee from 1941 to 1944, when its affairs were wound up. The remaining pages contain statistics and a list of personnel.
