Dr Thomas Hardie Dalrymple served as a medical officer in Sierra Leone, 1931-1933, Nigeria, 1933-1935, and Gambia, 1935-1937. He returned to Nigeria in 1937 where he worked until his retirement in 1950.
Material by Thomas Dalrymple and others relating to Plateau Province in Nigeria and the Cameroons.
The collection was given by Thomas Dalrymple to his colleague Dr Rex Cheverton who presented it to the R.C.S. in 1983.
