Content and context

Mrs B. Le Fevre wrote short stories and articles under the pen-name of 'Sianu', some based upon her experience of Malaya, where her husband served as a government surveyor between 1899 and 1925.

Seven stories written by Le Fevre with associated correspondence:

1. 'The Surat', published in 'Blackwood's Magazine', June 1938, 765-775.

2. 'Little Things'

3. 'The Pudding'

4. 'A wisp of a ghost'

5. 'By arrangement'

6. 'In possession', published in 'Wide world', Jan. 1940, 321-329 and in a revised form as 'One way with hornets' in 'Malaya', July 1963, 22-23.

7. 'Tiger tales', published in 'Malaya', Mar. 1963, 14-18.
