Content and context

In 1927, Ursula Massey married Richard Eric Holttum, who served as Assistant Director, Botanic Gardens, Singapore during 1922-1925 and Director between 1925 and 1949. During 1949-1954 Holttum was Professor of Botany, University of Malaya.

A narrative of Mrs Holttum's experience as an evacuee in Australia between 1941 and 1945, where she sought refuge with her two children during the Second World War (36 sheets).
