Loose postcards relating to the British Empire Exhibition, Wembley, 1924. The postcards, which were published by Fleetway Press Ltd, 3-9 Dane Street, Holborn, were originally included in a folder containing a collection of catalogues and other booklets on the Exhibition.
The postcards are arranged as general (1-3), Britain (4-6), Empire countries in alphabetical order (7-20) and pageant and tattoo scenes (21-26). Items 1-5, 7, 9, 11-14, 16-26 are by Campbell Gray; others have no photographer shown. Most of the images are rather muddy half tones, though there are some original photographs.
