This visit to Jordan in 1961 includes areas which have been occupied by Israel since 1967. Marnham apparently flew to Amman, the capital, visited Jerash to the north, then flew from Amman to Mafraq where he met the King. He returned to the capital then went to Jerusalem, crossing the Jordan at Allenby Bridge and approaching the city from Bethlehem in the south. He returned to Amman via Jericho.
Slides relating to the visit described above. Numbers 29-35 are of the Retreat ceremony in the capital. All the the slides are stamped September 61 and are arranged in two sequences - numbers 6-37 and 1-17. Numbers in the latter sequence have been altered to avoid duplication.
