Content and context

Contains loose prints measuring approximately 200 x 150 mm by Charles Kerry of Sydney showing scenes of cattle, sheep and wheat farming and timber felling. Most prints are captioned on the negative and signed 'Kerry, Sydney' with a negative number.

3 On the Dorrigo. 195 x 149 mm. A view showing a woodland path, on which are two horses, one ridden by a boy, the other loaded with a churn of cream. The print is uncaptioned on the front but has a handwritten caption on the reverse and the negative number 2365.

4 Arrival of the station mail. 198 x 150 mm. A view showing five workmen sitting at a table in the open air, reading newspaper and letters. The print is uncaptioned on the front, but has a handwritten caption on the reverse, along with the negative number 2365.

7 Wool sorting. 194 x 149 mm. A view looking along a wooden shed, where men are working at tables sorting wool into different grades. Negative number 214.

23 Spotted gum tree height 300 ft. cir. 18 ft. 151 x 196 mm. A view of the spotted base of the tree (similar to a plane tree). Handwritten captions on reverse identifies it as being in the Sydney Botanical Gardens. With Kerry's embossed stamp in one corner. Negative number 1420.
