| Content and context |
212 x 153 mm. Showing the ponderous brick building of the Nederduits Hervormde of Gereformeerde Church in Bosnan Street Pretoria, with the large square tower on one corner nearest the camera. A crowd of people can be seen standing outside the church and walking or riding bicycles along the street. The foundation stones for this building and of another church were both laid by General Botha (this church in May 1903), the funds for their construction being paid for by the sale of Church Square to the Government. |
