194 x 141 mm. General view looking along a road in the estate, with nipah palms growing on either side. The leaves from the palm are used in the construction of atap roofs in Malayan houses, the fruit in a preserve, and the juice extracted from the trunk fermented into a toddy. A note on the reverse reads: Main road and reserve for main pipe line to distillery, with main irrigation drains which supply subsidiary drains shown in other photograph. Nipah about 3 years old.
