292 x 238 mm. A group portrait of the Governor with European and Malay officials posed in front of the Kelantan Residency. No identifications are given with the print, but Sir Cecil CLEMENTI is seated at the centre, with Alwyn Sidney HAYNES, British Adviser on his left and Sultan ISMAIL on his right. Clementi visited Kelantan from the 18th-22nd of June 1930, and the Kelantan Administration Report (1930) states that he: after a very full programme of work which included visits to Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai, left by train travelling over the railway construction line to Pahang and staying one night each at Kuala Gris and Gua Musang. His Excellency received a very hearty welcome from representatives of all the communities in the State at each place which he visited: and at Kota Bharu [i.e. Baharu] a banquet was given at the Balei Besar by his Highness the Sultan, and there were also a garden party [presumably when the photograph was taken] and official dinner at the Residency.
