A commercial photographer active in Malaya in the 1940s who had a studio at Port Dickson in 1949. No fruther information is available.
54 x 51 mm. A snapshot showing Sir Henry Lovell Goldsworthy Gurney (1898-1951) standing with another European and four Chinese men on the bank of a river in Negri [i.e. Negeri] Sembilan (probably at Port Dickson). Gurney served in the Colonial Service in Kenya, Jamaica, the Gold Coast and Palestine before being appointed High Commissioner for the Federation of Malaya in 1948.
