Content and context

Is broadly in support of the Government's financial policy, as expressed in recent speeches by the Chancellor [Cripps] and Hall. Suggests that the meeting of the CPA should be postponed till the 1948 accounts have been prepared. Wishes to discuss the location of the room for the General Council's secretary. Makes suggestions regarding an anomaly in the calculation of estate duty. Asks Hall's opinion of his (own) article in the Contemporary Review.
