Papers of Lord and Lady Pethick-Lawrence

Title Letter from W. Glenvil Hall to Lord Pethick-Lawrence.
Reference 2/20
Covering Dates 20 Sept. 1956
Extent and Medium 1 doc
Content and context

(14 Heath Mansions, Hampstead Grove, London.) Expresses his support for Pethick-Lawrence's outburst at the [Cecil Houses] Finance Committee meeting; it would appear that Curry 'did the reasonable thing in order to save brokerage' [see 2/30]. Thinks that one or two more men on the committee would strengthen Pethick-Lawrence's arm, for Mrs Phillips 'doesn't like to implement decisions duly arrived at unless she approves of them'.
