(11 Old Square, London.) Has returned to England; Helen is on the way to America to see her children. Refers to the warm welcome they received while staying with Mrs Gandhi's father [Nehru]. Was unable to speak at length to Miss Naidu, the Governor of Calcutta, who was recovering from influenza. Has sent her [probably herewith] a letter of thanks for Miss Rao [see 2/112].
