Content and context

Congratulates him on the conclusion of the treaty between Great Britain and Eire. Recalls an occasion on which they both spoke at a meeting in Washington to protest against the treatment of Mr MacSweeny [Terence MacSwiney] and refers to her efforts to expose the abuses of the Black and Tans. Has touched on some of these matters in her book My Part in a Changing World.
