| Rogers was one of Davenport's most distinguished research students at University College, London, where he had been an undergraduate before war service at the Ministry of Supply and where he later held the Astor Chair. He collaborated with Davenport on several papers 1947-50 on the geometry of numbers, and was first author of the Royal Society Memoir of Davenport. Includes correspondence with R.F. Wrighton on packing of spheres, 6pp. note by Davenport on the problem and comments by Rogers. |
