WW would like to meet RJ at the Geological Society dinner: 'I will bring my review of Herschel ['Modern Science: Inductive Philosophy', Quarterly Review 45, 1831] and you shall look it over. I am pretty much pleased with what I have done' - but he thinks it might be too metaphysical.
