WW is not particularly surprised that he has not received RJ's preface ['An Essay on the Distribution of Wealth, and on the Sources of Taxation: Part 1. - Rent', 1831]: 'But I shall be much vexed if you again get into the way of letting days and weeks slip away without doing anything'. WW hopes the deliberate fires have stopped in RJ's part of the country.
