RJ has not yet told WW what he thinks of his 'Theophysics' ['Astronomy and General Physics Considered with Reference to Natural Theology', 1833]: 'it much concerns me to know what you think'. Because 'the dogmatical and deductive spirit of the present generation of economists it appears to me that it might be worth while to cut their meat for them and stuff it in their mouths that they might [machifah] it after their own fashion...your great business is to teach what is true, and will be so when Ricardists and McCulochites have become like Aristotelians and Canterians now are'.
