Content and context

RJ has not sent WW any of his 'cravets and speculations' on induction. WW has been 'working out the part about foreign trade which makes very nice equations and I think I see a little more light'. He will be 'hugely wrath' if Lockhart [John G. Lockhart] does not put his review of RJ in the same edition of the Quarterly Journal as his one on Herschel ['Modern Science: Inductive Philosophy', Quarterly Review 45, 1831].
