Includes themes suggested by Urban for MT's speech before both House of the US Congress, February 1985; with copy of a thank you letter from MT, 22 February 1985; an original thank you letter to Urban from MT for sending her a copy of his paper on the Gorbachev phenomenon, 6 May 1988; and correspondence between MT and Lord (Hugh) Thomas of Swynnerton following Thomas's paper "Britain's long term relations with the European Community", 10 December 1989.
