The material and papers in "Thatcher Associated" (THCR AS) are an adjunct to the papers of Baroness Thatcher (THCR) which are also held at Churchill Archives Centre. The distinction between the two collections is that Baroness Thatcher's own papers were generated, compiled, collected or received by her as a result of the positions she held or her actions or activities. The material in "Thatcher Associated" relate to Lady Thatcher but were not created or deposited at Churchill Archives Centre by her. For this reason they have been kept separate from her papers.

Access and Use

The collection is mostly open for consultation by researchers using Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge. Churchill Archives Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. A prior appointment and two forms of identification are required.
Items on video are unavailable unless an access copy has been produced.
Researchers wishing to publish excerpts from the papers must obtain prior permission from the copyright holders and should seek advice from Archives Centre staff.
