Content and context

Nothing is known about Ratcliffe.

Two naval cartoons of Admiral Jackie Fisher and Jellicoe (?) by Spy, originally published in "Vanity Fair". Also a certificate for crossing the Equator aboard HMS Sansovino (20 December 1945).

D H A Ratcliffe bequeathed these items to Captain Stephen Roskill and he then deposited them at Churchill Archives Centre.

These papers are owned by Churchill College, Cambridge.

Access and Use

The collection is open for consultation by researchers using Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge. Churchill Archives Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. A prior appointment and two forms of identification are required.

Researchers wishing to publish anything from this collection must obtain prior permission from the copyright holders and should seek advice from Archives Centre staff.
