The Papers of Neil Kinnock

Includes: papers, briefings and correspondence on general foreign policy issues, such as Central America, NK's involvement in various human rights cases relating to the Soviet Union, sanctions against South Africa and meetings with African leaders; papers on the Gulf War, 1990-91.

In a few cases where multiple visits to one country (or continent, in the case of Africa) had been brought together, the purpose of the file was judged to have changed from just being a briefing for a visit (and so belonging in KNNK 19), to being more to do with foreign policy, and in these cases the files have been placed in Foreign Affairs.
