Thomas [Commissioner in Sindh]; Sir Stanley Reed; Sir Samuel Hoare; A. Montgomerie; General Sir Philip Chetwode, Commander in Chief of the Army in India [from 1933 Field-Marshal; later 1st Baron Chetwode]; M. F. O'Dwyer; F. C. Brasher, and the 4th Marquess of Salisbury [James Gascoyne-Cecil]. On subjects including: reform of governance of India, including discussion of White Paper on the subject; agriculture; the Lloyd Barrage and Canals Construction Scheme; Gandhi; comment on Lord Irwin [later 1st Earl of Halifax]'s governorship, and British schools in India.
