Joseph Ford was a diplomat whose positions included British Consul-General, Hanoi, North Vietnam (1960-1962) and British Consul General at New Orleans, United States (1963-1964).
Ford's papers consist of three diaries kept during his postings.
These papers were deposited at Churchill Archives Centre by Ford's son in 1996.

The collection is open for consultation by researchers using Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge. Churchill Archives Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. A prior appointment and two forms of identification are required.
