This section of Lady Hankey's papers comprises original letters between Maurice and Adeline Hankey and to their children.

Lady Benn had packaged the letters and correspondence in this section into brown envelopes bundled into date ranges. The envelopes have been retained and often contain notes on the subjects of the letters or information about dating undated letters.
