'Copies of Telegrams': press copies of 45 telegrams [from Shanghai, Peking, Tientsin, Foochow, London and possibly elsewhere], 12-20 September [1884], concerning impediments to telegraphic communication with Foochow during the Franco-Chinese hostilities. Some of the copies are in Judd's hand (Walter Judd?). The correspondents include Parkes; Patrick Hughes; John George Dunn; Judd; 'Chairman'; 'Rentzsch'; 'Durran'; and the Director General of the Eastern Extension Australasia & China Telegraph Company Ltd.
