Set no. 4 of photographs nos 61-80 of the Sino-Japanese conflict produced by Mike's Photo Shop, depicting scenes from the Battle of Shanghai of August-November 1937. The envelope includes a printed list giving the titles of the photographs. A note in pen on the envelope reads 'Peaceful Shanghai With Compts of G.W.S.'.
