An eleven-page typescript report on Ching Yue's financial failure by David Landale, Shanghai, 5 August 1910, with a typescript copy of an agreement between His Honour Tsai Hai-Hwang Taotai of Shanghai and a number of banks for a loan, Shanghai, 4 August 1910. There is a covering letter from Charles Beswick to B.D.F. Beith, 10 November 1938. The documents were originally in an envelope labelled 'No 18 Imports' (the label has been retained).
