Content and context

Letters from the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, London, to David Landale, Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, 26 October 1925-20 May 1935, informing him that certain bonds deposited with the company, relating to railway loans, have been drawn for payment. There is also a copy of a letter from Matheson & Co. Ltd to H.S.B.C., 12 February 1932, enclosing securities (not included) for them to keep on Landale's behalf.
