A promise by Yü Ying Loi, Hong Kong, to Jardine, Matheson & Co. to withdraw his objection to the firm erecting a pier overlapping his water frontage in return for an annual payment from the company of $5, 15 January 1885. The promise is in the form of a letter to the company, and includes the signature of a witness.
