Content and context

A copy of the form of tender of Jardine, Skinner & Co. to supply China Black Tea to the Bengal Commissariat, dated Calcutta, 15 January 1870, with a commissariat notice by Wm. Mylne, Major, Assistant-Commissary-General, regarding tenders for an earlier contract, 1868, and a blank tender form for this contract.
