Content and context

Memoranda and accounts for many different types of goods, including (among others) memoranda of prices and valuations in Great Britain and China; memoranda and accounts of sales in Great Britain; reports on British markets and statements regarding trade; statements of imports and deliveries; memoranda of charges, discounts and commissions regarding shipments of goods; and memoranda regarding insurance. The documents are predominantly from London, and include many items that do not specify location, but which are probably also from London.
