Content and context

John Wainwright of Appleton, Cheshire, and William Wainwright his brother sell to Thomas Wright of Widnes, Lancs., certain lands in Ditton for a term of six months with the intent to release the land to him for ever. Witnesses: Oliver Lym, John Mott, John Lathom, Richard Borron, Sam. Ditton. Part of the seal remains attached.
