Content and context

The Honourable Francis Henry Lee of Kingsdon Wood, Cambridgeshire, and Charles Smith sell to Edmond Williamsom of Westminster certain land in the above parishes. If a certain sum is paid by a certain date, the agreement is void. On the back is part of a receipt for money received by the sisters of Francis Henry Lee. The document has been torn across from top to bottom near the centre and only the left-hand portion remains.
